Young Filmmakers’ Boot Camp (Digital Devices): Wellington, Australia
This 1-day school holiday workshop will guide young filmmakers to use easily accessible equipment and resources to create a short film from script to screen.
Participants will learn how to make a short film from start to finish with their own devices. Participants will work as a team to create a short 1 - 3 minute film as part of the workshop.
Event information:
Who: This workshop has been designed for participants aged, 12 to 18.
Where: Wellington Library, corner of Percy and Maughan Streets, Wellington, NSW, Australia.
When: Wednesday April 17, 9.30am-3.30pm. There will be a 30 minute lunch break in the day.
Price: $10 per person (plus $0.69 booking fee)
Equipment to bring: Participants need to bring their own device/s to film on which can be a smart phone, tablet/iPad or camera - whatever you have available to you at home.
Snacks to bring: A water bottle, lunch and any snacks needed during the day.
Event notes:
Make sure you fully charge your device for the workshop. You will also need a cable to transfer your footage to a computer and a charger.

Note: A parent or guardian must sign a permission slip for any participant under 18 to attend. All workshop trainers have a current Working With Children Check.
